Tom Fereday

Tom Fereday is an Australian industrial designer based in Sydney. Born in Sydney and raised in England, he studied at Wimbledon School of Art and completed an honours degree in industrial design at UTS Sydney. After working with furniture companies and a mentorship at Marc Newson's studio, he founded his own studio in 2012. His approach, which he calls honest design, celebrates manufacturing processes and long-lasting relevance. His Sia chair won the 2017 Mercedes-Benz Design Award.
