Luis Fernández Codeseda

Luis Fernández Codeseda is a product designer based in Madrid. His work explores the relationship between people and their surroundings, combining function, memory and formal sensitivity. Much of it reinterprets traditional objects, adapting their form and use to contemporary life while keeping their essence. His Tomé water jug for Diabla grew from a childhood memory of his grandfather drinking from a botijo, the traditional Spanish clay jug, and is handmade in terracotta.
