Anchor Ceramics is a ceramics design studio in Melbourne's inner north, founded by Bruce Rowe, who trained as an architect and began working with clay as a side project in 2009. The studio works in applied research, prototyping and product development, producing handmade ceramic lighting, tiles, outdoor pieces and furniture. Its process is collaborative and iterative, combining traditional techniques such as wheel throwing with contemporary tools. Projects include the Potter DS lighting collection developed with Rakumba.
