Simon Pengelly

Simon Pengelly is a furniture and product designer who trained at Rycotewood College and Kingston Polytechnic before founding his London studio in 1993. A small furniture collection launched at 100% Design in London in 1996 led to work with British manufacturers, and the studio has since designed for brands such as Arper, Foscarini, Montis and Habitat. His approach is driven by materials and processes and by how people use and relate to everyday objects, with a strong emphasis on craft.
