Monica Armani

Monica Armani is an Italian architect and designer from Trento, where her studio is based, with a presence in Milan. She began her career working with her father, the rationalist architect Marcello Armani. She works with her life and work partner Luca Dallabetta, who manages the studio, and in 1996 they started the product line progetto 1. Their method, which they call Design in Molecules, blends memory and innovation by reinterpreting archetypal forms. Her furniture is produced by companies such as B&B Italia, Flexform, Luceplan and Riva 1920.
