Lucy Kurrein

Lucy Kurrein is a British furniture and industrial designer. She began her career with Matthew Hilton, learning the discipline of industrial design and the technical side of materials and manufacturing, and from 2009 to 2013 worked at PearsonLloyd on projects spanning office, healthcare, tableware and transport. She set up her own studio in 2013. Her work, much of it upholstered furniture, joins industrial rigour with the warmth of furniture design, and each project is shaped by the expertise of the manufacturer she works with.
