Katerina Trpkovska

Katerina Trpkovska is a product designer based in Skopje, where she founded Rinocca, a furniture design and manufacturing company with its own studio and workshop. Her work values honesty in design, with an emphasis on natural materials and comfort, and draws on 20th-century European architecture that achieved strong structures with minimal material. Rinocca works mainly for the hospitality sector in oak, walnut, steel, brass, leather and fabrics, sourcing locally where possible. She won the regional Young Balkan Designers competition in 2015 and The House of Thousand Designers in 2017, the same year Rinocca's Kran floor lamp won a Golden Key for best product at the Belgrade Furniture Fair.
