Groundwork Studio

Groundwork Studio is a Copenhagen-based design office founded by Morten Bo Jensen, who previously spent 16 years as in-house chief designer for a Danish design brand. The studio works across furniture, lighting, accessories and complete kitchen and bathroom systems, starting each project from the client's context and commercial needs. It looks for a refined detail, material or process that sets a product apart, and favours long-term brand partnerships and quiet, durable designs over trends. Its Cord collection draws on the Danish tradition of paper cord.
