Raw-Edges

Raw-Edges is a design studio founded in 2007 by Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay and based in East London. Known for an inventive approach to materials and making, the studio works on products, limited editions and spatial installations. Its work includes the LightMass table light collection and the Endgrain series, and pieces are held in the permanent collections of MoMA, the Vitra Design Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. Recognition includes Design Miami/Basel Designers of the Future and A&W Designers of the Year 2020.
