Monica Förster

Monica Förster grew up near the Arctic Circle in northern Sweden and leads Monica Förster Design Studio in Stockholm. Her work moves between industrial, furniture and object design, combining pure form with an ongoing interest in new materials and technology. She starts from the poetic idea behind each project before resolving shape, colour and detail. Clients include Alessi, Poltrona Frau, Tacchini and Svenskt Tenn, and she has been creative advisor to Zanat since 2015. She has been named Swedish Designer of the Year several times.
