Vicente Soto

Vicente Soto is a Spanish furniture designer, born in Almería in 1944 and based in Valencia since childhood. Largely self-taught, he started in interior decoration in the 1960s and later co-founded a studio combining construction and furniture, whose Modurama 76 modular system ran to more than 200 modules. As an external designer for Andreu World he created the best-selling Vanessa chair in 1981, and he worked with Capdell for more than fifteen years, designing pieces such as the Tao chair.
