Drvo, Bosnian for wood, is a round table by Naoto Fukasawa inspired by the base of a tree rising from the ground. The idea is to carve a solid block of wood until the form appears; Zanat's woodcarvers finish the base with a hand-carved pattern that recalls tree bark.
Construction
Material: solid wood, hand-carved base
Additional stains, colours and wood species (for example cherry or elm) are available on request for larger project orders. Dimensions can be customised on request; please ask for a quote. Solid wood is a natural material: colour and grain vary from piece to piece and small healthy knots may occur.
