Jorge Garaje

Jorge Garaje is a Spanish artist and industrial designer, born in Guadalajara in 1991 and based in Madrid. He studied fine arts and industrial design engineering and graduated from the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Madrid. Describing himself as an objector of ideas, he makes objects that both give form to ideas and question them, with an irreverent edge and care for raw materials and craft. He has taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design, and his work has been shown at MoMA PS1 and CentroCentro in Madrid.
